Stations of the Cross

The Stations of the Cross

The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step devotion that help us to remember Jesus Christ's last day on earth.  The Stations enable us to focus in Lent upon our own journey with God.  The whole world is in stages of fear and facing death, people experencing isolation and abandonment like never before with the effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic.  Christ has experienced these emotions and realities on his last day.

Come bring all of your being on this journey.

Our stations are located in the aisles either side of the altar in St Michael's Church.  the first station is next to the North Porch doors.  Imagine yourself walking on the journey.

Before you begin, it may help you to open the Prayer Sheet; you can join in at the beginng and at the end of each Station.

We are offering you here a virtual pilgrimage in the which you stop at each station and you take time to recall and meditate upon effects of Christ's final day on earth.  Your virtual journey will last about 30 minutes.
