The Forget Me Not flower has symbolism with connections with people; challenges; and memories.

Our Forget-Me-Nots group aims to tackle loneliness and social isolation.

What is the Forget-Me-Nots group?

In the Parish of South Beddington and Roundshaw we recognise one of the challenges that has emerged from COVID-19 is the effects of being lonely and feeling isolated.   We believe that God designed us for relationships.  Therefore we want help in developing time and space for community members to reflect and build relationships, find some answers to the things that challenges them and re-connect with others.

It is a support group for those who feel lonely, isolated or affected by the pandemic. It is a safe space to talk and listen.  We will use reflective techniques to support each other.

When will it run?

We run our Forget-Me-Nots on Wednesday's normally in the afternoon.  Initially we will have a one-to-one chat and then we can see how that develops into group meetings, initially online via zoom, then in-person when restrictions allow.
