St Paul's

Tradition: Worship is inclusive, accessible, concise, and children are always welcome. Members of the congregation take an active part in reading the lessons and leading prayers.

Services: We hold two services each week, the Said Eucharist (or Family Communion Service) at 08:30 on Sundays and the other our mid-week Said Eucharist is at 10:30 on Wednesday’s, making use of modern (Common Worship) material.

There is a Worship Service hosted by Springfield Church at 10:30 in St Paul’s every Sunday; see more at http://springfieldchurch.org.uk/

Covid Safe: We are covid safe and we encourage visitors to read our guidance Here.

Liturgy

Our hymn book is Hymns Old and New, offering a wide variety of worship songs from ancient to modern. The liturgical parts of the service are spoken rather than sung, making it easier for most people to take part.

The services are as "unstuffy" as we can make them, in keeping with the attractive, virtually ornament-free interior of the church. Families feel right at home here.

The lobby area is separated from the worship space by a glass screen, allowing parents and children to leave the church briefly during services if the need arises, without feeling cut off from what is happening inside.
